Monday Made It!

I am happy to participate this week (on Tuesday, haha)!!! I've been working on my teacher toolbox for like, 3 weeks now and FINALLY finished it! :) I'm into rainbows and fun colors, as you can see by my choice of spray paint. I didn't realize it would be that HOT orange, but I looooove it!!! It's SO me! And it will match my Chicka Chicka Boom Boom classroom!

What do ya think?!

*Since some of you asked--I (well...my husband, haha...) spray painted it with plastic primer first, then orange, and then a clear, glossy spray paint. And I'm pretty sure he only did one coat of each??*

  5. Love it! I just made mine, but did not paint it. Did you prime or sand it or anything first or just spray paint it?

  8. Thanks, everyone!!! To answer your questions, the organizer came from Lowe's. I want to say it was like, $20 or less, but I don't remember... :) My husband used a primer spray paint first, then orange, and then a clear, glossy spray paint. I wasn't going to fool with painting it at first but am glad I decided to! I love how it turned out!

  13. Awesome Idea! I love the way you painted yours. I just finished mine as far as putting on the labels and now I just need to paint it. I am new to blogging and your newest follower. :)

    1. I typed the names of the drawers and printed them on white paper. I then cut scrapbook paper to fit in the drawer and glued the names to the scrapbook paper!
