I posted some pictures showing my math manipulative storage at the beginning of the school year, but didn't really go into detail. I am excited to share these pictures with you now because I am SO proud! After state assessments last school year I spent a few days going through and reorganizing all of the manipulatives that I had in order to make room for MORE. Anyway, I will let the pictures speak for themselves--enjoy! :)
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Thanks!!
DeleteWow...I have been struggling with this recently. Having moved up from K-2 I have a lot of manipulatives, some that I use a lot and some that I never use anymore. I like the smaller containers...especially the lunch tote one! Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and good luck getting all of yours organized! :)
DeleteYour organization is amazing!! I'm so jealous. Thank you for the great ideas.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!! :) I've been saying that there needs to be an "Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition" show for a while now. Maybe I should get that going??! :D
DeleteThis looks amazing! I know how much time it takes to organize and label everything. Thank you for sharing your ideas! Can you tell me where you found the divided storage container for the base 10 blocks? I've looked online and I'm not seeing one like it. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy! I actually picked those up from The Dollar Tree. I think I have also seen those at Wal-Mart. :)
DeleteThank you! I'll look there.
DeleteI have been searching for these containers everywhere! It is such a great idea. Thank you for letting us know that they came from Dollar Tree! I have been stopping by my local Dollar Tree for days, no luck yet!

Hi. I've been looking for those containers for base ten blocks. Dollar Tree? Are they any particular brand? Ziploc, Glad? Really want to find them!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Base Ten Block storage containers! I have been using a plastic tray to give them to groups and without fail they go flying. The three-section containers are perfect for organizing! I found a bunch at Dollar Tree and can't wait to sort them tomorrow for our Decimal activities.
ReplyDeleteI love the organization of the base 10 blocks!! I have been trying to figure something out for years. About how many ones and tens to you put in each set?
ReplyDeleteThe brand is Sure Fresh-they currently have them on the Dollar Tree website! :)
